Terms of Service

Last updated August 2026

These terms govern your use of Brikk ("the Service", brikk.zip). By creating an account or uploading anything, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Your account

You sign in with Discord. You're responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your API keys secret. You must be old enough to use Discord in your country.

2. The Service is a neutral host

Brikk is an automated hosting and content-delivery tool. We store and serve files that users choose to upload. We do not create, review, endorse, or monitor user content before it is published, and we are not the author or publisher of it. Any opinion or material in an upload is the uploader's, not ours.

3. Your content is yours — and your responsibility

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant Brikk only the limited licence needed to store and deliver your files so the Service can work (for example, serving an image over a public link you created).

You are solely responsible for the content you upload, store, and share, and for the consequences of doing so. By uploading, you represent and warrant that:

4. Prohibited content & use

You must not upload, store, share or link to content that:

You also must not abuse the Service — for example by bypassing quotas or rate limits, overloading the API, or reselling hosting without permission.

5. We can remove content and suspend accounts

Although we don't pre-screen uploads, we may remove any content and suspend or terminate any account, at any time and without notice, if we believe it breaks these terms, exposes us or others to liability, or is required by law. We may also preserve and disclose information where legally required or to enforce these terms.

6. Copyright & takedown notices

We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to valid takedown notices (including under the DMCA and equivalent laws). If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, send a notice to the contact listed on brikk.zip including: your contact details, identification of the work, the URL of the infringing file, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorised, a statement that your notice is accurate, and your signature. We will remove or disable access to infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Brikk, its operators and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) the content you upload, store or share; (b) your use of the Service; or (c) your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right. This section survives termination of your account.

8. Plans & limits

Each account is on a plan with a storage allowance, a maximum file size and an API-key limit. We may change plans and limits; where a change materially reduces a paid plan, we'll give reasonable notice.

9. Availability & disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee uptime, that files will always be available, or that the Service will be error-free. Keep your own backups of anything important.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brikk and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, for loss of data, or for any content uploaded by users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your right to use it ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (including 3, 7 and 10) continue to apply.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the "last updated" date above, and significant changes will be announced on the Service. Continuing to use it after a change means you accept the new terms.

13. Contact

This is a starting template, not legal advice. Liability, indemnity and safe-harbour rules differ by country — have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer for your jurisdiction before you launch, and add a real takedown/abuse contact address.
